SOME of the male stars of a TV show will be wearing suits made in Bradford for its final this weekend.

John Barrowman and Christopher Dean, two of the judges on ITV's Dancing on Ice, have been kitted out for this Sunday's final by IK Collections, based in Westgate, Bradford.

The company has made each of the men's suits for the major TV showpiece, hosted by Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, which will see Olympian-turned TV presenter Colin Jackson, actress Faye Brookes and DJ Sonny Jay battle it out for the title.

Although the finished suits are being kept under wraps until Sunday's final, Christopher will wear a black suit featuring gems and John's suit will be gold and black.

Mr Khan said: "I'm very happy that the suits are being worn on the show. It's absolutely amazing.

"It helps with putting Bradford on the map. The final of the show was brought forward by a week, so we had eight days to put the suits together.

I'm going to be watching it and recording it. The suits are being kept under wraps until the final. We all want it to be something special

"I'm really happy about this. It is big exposure for the business and for Bradford too.

"Christopher was absolutely gobsmacked and he loved his suit. John loved his suit too and kept on saying it was fabulous."

The Dancing on Ice designs follows IK Collections designing suits for stars of another TV show.

Joey Essex, Wayne Lineker, Curtis Pritchard and Tom Zanetti, stars of E4's reality TV hit Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion, wore suits made by Mr Khan's company on last month's series finale.

IK Collections also helped kit out Prime Minister Boris Johnson for a second time after sending him cufflinks, a tie and braces.

He sent the cufflinks and received a reply on behalf of Mr Johnson on Downing Street-headed paper earlier this year.

Mr Khan produced a suit for former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn featuring the words 'For the many' in the pinstripe, which Mr Corbyn wore on the General Election campaign trail in Whitby in 2019.

The designer also kitted out the late Captain Sir Tom Moore in three suits last summer.

The Keighley-born fundraiser, who died aged 100 earlier this month, invited Mr Khan to his home where he completed his 100-lap challenge which raised more than £33 million for NHS charities.

Captain Sir Tom tried on his three suits for the first time when he came home to Keighley last summer.

Other IK Collections clients have included boxers Chris Eubank Jr, Amir Khan, Tyson Fury and Duncan James from boyband Blue.
