A LARGE police cordon is in place after a sinkhole appeared on a road in Bradford this morning.
Police put the cordons up when the sinkhole was spotted on Church Street, off Heaton Road in Manningham.
A female passer-by told the T&A: "It's always happening. Every year, gas board, broadband.
"There's a weakness in the road."
Yorkshire Water are currently at the scene.
A spokesperson said the hole has been caused by a damaged sewer.
They added: "Our teams are currently on site at Church Street and will be repairing a sewer, which had damaged the highway. Traffic management will be in place to allow them to complete the work safely."
