THE company planning to open an artisan burger restaurant in Saltaire has applied for a licence to also serve alcohol.
Last year Slaithwaite based Rumpus Artisan Burgers was granted planning permission to turn 22 Bingley Road into its latest branch, as well as installing a “state of the art kitchen” in the unit.
The unit was occupied by Binns and Son’s butchers, which has moved to a larger unit on Bingley Road.
Alcohol licence bid for new city centre food shop
Now the company has submitted a licensing application to Bradford Council that would allow it to serve alcohol at the new branch from 11am to 10pm.
Rumpus Burgers says it offers a true “farm to fork” experience, and uses meat from longhorn cattle.
