BRADFORD’S two Covid-19 community testing sites have now re-opened after being forced to close this morning.
Both the council’s lateral flow testing sites at St George’s Hall in Bradford city centre and Airedale Shopping Centre in Keighley were shut due to technical difficulties with the national registration site. But they both re-opened at 1.30pm.
The council tweeted: “We apologise for any inconvenience.”

Lateral Flow tests, which give results in 30 minutes, are used in a bid to identify asymptomatic people who have Covid-19.
Both sites opened in the Bradford district in December last year.
Also in December last year, it was announced that a rapid testing programme was to be rolled out in the Bradford district, to help protect those most at risk from the virus.
