TWO police officers have been released from hospital after they were injured in a crash on a Bradford road this morning.

Shipley Airedale Road was partially blocked at its junction with Barkerend Road after two vehicles were involved in a collision.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said that "a vehicle collided into the back of a police vehicle".

In an update this affernoon, a police spokesman said: "Both officers have since been discharged from hospital. There were no serious injuries."

One passer-by said earlier that there was "huge traffic" in the area as a result of the incident, and that "a lot of police" were in attendance.
