BRADFORD has been named as the best UK city for flexible working, according to a study.
Ready Steady Store has created an index on the best cities, towns and London boroughs in Great Britain for flexible working in 2021.
By compiling data including the number of nearby jobs open to remote working, the cost of living and life satisfaction, the study created an average score to reveal the locations best for anyone who wants a mix of home and office working when it is safe to do so.
Bradford, which scored 28.3 in the study, is the best city for flexible working, with a high number of jobs in a 25-mile radius offering remote work, an affordable cost of living, and a high life satisfaction score.
Bradford also has a lower cost of living, and a good amount of remote jobs available within 25 miles. Stoke was second and Newcastle was third in the study.
