POLICE have fined the driver of a truck full of carrots for having an over weight load in the vehicle.
A post on West Yorkshire Police's Facebook page joked: "This vehicle caught our attention due to the number of rabbits on the verge of the motorway watching it pass."
However, the load was determined to be too heavy for the vehicle.
The police added: "It was found to be 20 per cent over weight loaded with carrots. A fixed penalty notice was issued and prohibited until the load could be split."
