A BRITISH firm has made a robot that can prepare and serve 5,000 dishes in your kitchen.
Now that sounds like a good idea. My husband cooks in our house, but his repertoire runs to around a dozen or so dishes, so it would be great to try a few new culinary delights. I am also sure he would love to put his feet up and let someone else slave away. The only problem is, this high-tech kitchen gadget costs £250,000. At that price I would expect it to do the cleaning, laundry, gardening and just about every other task. As it stands, it doesn’t even do the washing-up.
