A MOTORIST who drove on the pavement on a busy city centre street has been fined by police.
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team, set up to tackle anti social driving in Bradford, were on patrol in the city centre this morning.
Among the problem drivers they encountered was one who was spotted driving a BMW down the pavement on Great Horton Road, near the University of Bradford and a few yards from a bus stop.

Police stopped the driver and gave them a £50 fine.
On the same patrol they stopped a van that weighed in at 4,360kg - 860kg over its legal weight.
That vehicle was prohibited until underweight and driver was handed a £300 fine.
