TWO people suffered head injuries in a hammer and crowbar attack at Morrisons' car park in Heckmondwike this afternoon.
West Yorkshire Police reported that three teenage boys were arrested for a public order offence after allegedly causing injuries to two other teenage boys in the attack which occurred at 2.40pm in the Morrisons' car park on Union Street, Heckmondwike.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said that the incident appeared to be a "fallout between two groups of teenagers".
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Ambulance Service said two people suffered head injuries and one was taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield.
A number of police officers two ambulances and one rapid response vehicle were scambled to the scene.
