HOME builder Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has donated £3,000 to three community organisations in Bradford as part of its Community Fund initiative.

Despite the ongoing challenges caused by the pandemic, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has supported Cullingworth Village Primary, Wilsden Squash Club and St Lukes CoE Primary School in Bradford. The initiative sees the company donate £1,000 to a different local charity or organisation each month.

The donation has helped each organisation continue its important work to support communities across Bradford, particularly when the Covid-19 pandemic has severely impacted the charitable sector.

Ian Ruthven, Managing Director of Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: “We are always looking for ways to continue to support the communities in which we build, so we are thrilled that despite the challenges the pandemic has caused, we were able to support these incredibly important charities and organisations through our Community Fund.

“All of these organisations make a significant impact and difference in communities in Bradford so we are really looking forward to seeing how the donations will help each of them continue to do their important work.

“We look forward to working with more charities and organisations across the region who will benefit from our Community Fund throughout the remainder of this year.”
