NO further Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported in the Bradford district today.

According to the latest NHS England figures, neither Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust or Airedale NHS Foundation Trust reported any further deaths.

The total death toll at hospitals in the Bradford district remains at 815 - 564 at BRI, 249 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Nationally, a further 254 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 82,410.

Patients were aged between 26 and 99 years old. All except 13 (aged 57 to 94 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from December 28, 2020 to February 24, 2021 with the majority being on or after February 20.

Their families have been informed.

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
