Never has this been more obvious than over the past year, when its staff have gone above and beyond in terms of care and compassion.
So why then do the Royals usually go private? Prince Philip is being treated in the private King Edward VII’s Hospital, while Princess Eugiene gave birth at the private hospital long associated with Royal births, The Portland.
Wouldn't it be a great endorsement of our brilliant NHS if they used it more often?
