POLICE caught a man who had failed to appear at court after he was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt.
PC Claire Gray, a Roads Policing Unit (RPU) for West Yorkshire Police, was on patrol in the Huddersfield area yesterday afternoon.
She stopped the driver of a Ford car, who was not wearing his seatbelt.
The officer checked the driver's details and discovered he was wanted by the courts for failing to appear last week.
The man was arrested and is in custody to be put before court.
PC Gray shared the news on Twitter.
She said: "Sometimes it’s the little things."
