DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a shooting in Leeds last week. 

Police received reports of a firearms discharge at a property on Servia Drive, Woodhouse, at 10.09pm on Wednesday, 17 February.

Officers attended and found damage to the front door of the property, consistent with a firearms discharge.

The occupants of the property were present at the time of the incident, but no injuries were sustained. 

Detective Inspector Sarah Burton said: “Thankfully no one has been injured and we believe this to be an isolated incident.

“We understand that incidents like this can cause concern in the local community and there are increased high visibility patrols in the area to offer reassurance.

“The discharge of any firearm is extremely serious and extensive enquiries are underway to find all of those responsible.

“I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information to contact officers.”
