Are cycle lanes just a white elephant?
SIR - I use Wakefield Road quite a lot and have finally seen a cyclist (well done Bradford Council). He was riding on the pavement. What a complete waste of money and a white elephant.
Traffic congestion has got worse. And as for mini roundabouts, what happens if everyone arrives at the same time? We all look at each other before setting off together.
