BRADFORD West MP Naz Shah says the Government has failed to provide support for people in constituencies like hers.
Ms Shah says many people in Bradford West work as frontline workers, including in care and taxi drivers.
She also recalled the way Bradford was initially placed into its second lockdown last July, the night before Eid.
“I’ll never forget it was the night before Eid that Matt Hancock closed Bradford down… on Twitter.”

Speaking on last night’s ITV Peston programme, Ms Shah said: “I’ll never forget it was the night before Eid that (Health Secretary) Matt Hancock closed Bradford down, put extra restrictions on, like doing it on Christmas Eve...on Twitter.
“It’s not shocking that my community will lose even more trust if it continues to face lockdown.
“We need targeted intervention. The government failed to prepare, failed to support families.
“Lots of people in Bradford and Leicester are frontline care workers, taxi drivers, who are not being protected.”
