Bradford Business Improvement District (BID) represents more than 600 businesses in Bradford city centre who each pay an annual levy to help fund initiatives to make it a better place in which to live, work, shop, enjoy hospitality and leisure activities and make a living.
Launched in January 2019, the BID has already made a huge impact on the city’s cleanliness and visual appearance with the start of its five-year programme to deep clean the streets, remove gum and smarten up street furniture, as well as installing hanging baskets and improving lighting in key footfall areas.
The BID is supporting the Connecting Businesses video initiative as part of our campaign to help support and prepare city centre firms for a bright post-lockdown future when we will be able to stage and sponsor a host of exciting events, large and small, to bring back shoppers and visitors and help businesses to thrive once more.
Bradford BID are one of the very first BIDs in the country to achieve the Industry Standards in quality and governance. There is more to follow but I cannot say how pleased we are with this accreditation, which evidences our commitment to delivery of a quality and transparent BID on behalf of our member businesses!
