A MAN who breached a sexual harm prevention order has been jailed.
Kevin Kenyon, 41, appeared before Bradford Crown Court yesterday to be sentenced.
The court heard he had been made subject to the order in February 2011, but between January 4 and January 8 this year stayed with a friend at an address in Bradford, where children were also living, which he is prohibited from doing by the order.
Andrew Semple, for Kenyon, of no fixed address, said he had stayed at the home while he tried to sort out alternative accommodation where there were no children.
The court heard he did not cause, or intend to cause, any harm and the stay at the address had been a “stop gap”.
He was sentenced to eight months’ imprisonment for a breach of the order, which he had pleaded guilty to at magistrates’ court.
