DURING England's Six Nations rugby union match against Italy on Saturday, winger Jonny May produced an acrobatic finish to score in the corner.
May's leap through the air to dot down in the corner drew plaudits from pundits, fellow players and fans alike for its athleticism.

However, many rugby league fans pointed out that finishes just as good as May's, and usually even more spectacular, are scored on a weekly basis in Super League, the Championship and in Australia's NRL.
Bradford Bulls fans will be well-used to the acrobatic finished produced by former winger Ethan Ryan, who made a habit of producing gravity-defying finishes while playing for the Bulls beating defenders against all odds to score in the corner, often with his entire body suspended in mid-air outside the field of play.

Yesterday, we asked the T&A's Instagram followers to vote on whose was the better finish, Jonny May's effort or one off Ethan Ryan's highlight reel, against Batley Bulldogs at Odsal, where he picked the ball up off his toes before doing a front flip to score in the corner.
The vote was decisive, with 63 per cent of readers backing the West Bowling boy Ethan Ryan as the more accomplished finisher over the England rugby union international.
Ryan himself commented on the finish, describing it as "not bad" after fellow former Bull Ross Peltier said Ryan had "been finishing 10x better than this for years".
It’s ight, not bad 🥱😉 @rossco_peltz https://t.co/ERPaFYVqpv
