A CHAI cafe has applied for a new licence that would allow it to open for 24 hours a day.
Bradford based company Cha Cha Chai Ltd has submitted an application for a 24 licence for its cafe based at the food court on Ingleby Road.
Plans to install the container in a car park area were approved by Bradford Council in 2019.
Retrospective chai cafe plan refused - despite enthusiastic letters of support
The new application submitted to the licensing department would allow for a 24 hour opening.
It also allows the business to provide “late night refreshment” between 11pm and 5am. Current licensing rules require businesses to have a license to serve food between these hours.
People have until March 10 to have their say on the licensing application.
