POLICE have issued a renewed appeal to reunite sentimental garden ornaments with their owner, more than a year after they were stolen.

The two items - stone lion and unicorn statues - were taken from a garden on Dallam Road, in the Saltaire area of Bradford, between November 24 and 25 back in 2019.

The suspects fled the scene.

West Yorkshire Police launched an appeal for information immediately after the theft and have now renewed that appeal today - a year and three months later.

Officers have been conducting enquiries in that time to trace the statues.

A spokesperson for the force said the ornaments hold a high sentimental value to their owner.
