THERE has been one further Covid-19 death recorded in the Bradford district's hospitals today.

The death, at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, takes the total for the district's hospitals to 787.

It means the total at Bradford Teaching Hospitals is now at 545 deaths, with Airedale NHS Foundation Trust recording 240 deaths, while Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust's death toll remains at two.

Nationally, a further 664 deaths have been announced today in England, taking the death toll to 77,253.

Patients were aged between 21 and 100 years old, and all except 26, who were aged between 36 and 96, had known underlying health conditions.

Yorkshire and the North East had the fourth highest number of deaths with 90, behind the Midlands (150), East of England (104) and London (92).

Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has now seen 810 deaths, Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust has seen 914, and Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 445 deaths.
