custard creams
JUST as you thought the news could not get any worse – now custard creams are in short supply. British shoppers in Europe are struggling to get their hands on everything from custard creams and M&S food products to Fortnum & Mason hampers as post-Brexit export rules continue to cause chaos.
Call it hard done by, but I have lived for 60 years without a Fortnum & Mason hamper crossing my threshold, so that’s no problem. However, I will miss those little biscuits with the cream in the middle. I don’t eat many biscuits but they are my one guilty pleasure with a cup of tea.
