A 100MPH driver who been had travelling from Staffordshire to Bradford was stopped on the M62 and reported for a Covid breach late last night.
According to a tweet by the West Yorkshire Police's Road Policing Unit, the driver was going back to Staffordshire after visiting Bradford to buy food, breaching Covid-19 guidelines.
In addition to the speeding offence, the driver had no licence or insurance and both the driver and passenger were arrested for immigration offences.
The driver and passenger were reported for a Covid breach and the car was seized.
