A train has hit a shopping trolley on one of the main lines into Bradford - causing serious disruption to services tonight.
The shopping trolley has become trapped underneath the Northern unit in the Bramley area, affecting services in and out of Bradford Interchange towards Leeds.
A northern spokesperson said: "A train has hit a shopping trolley near Bramley and has become wedged between the track and the train. Train services from Bradford to Leeds are currently disrupted, customers should expect services between both stations to be delayed cancelled or diverted."
Road replacement transport has been requested for some passengers, while others are being advised to use diverted services to Leeds.
