TWO people were arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs in Bradford city centre on Thursday.

Investigations are ongoing after the two people - both aged 41 and both from Bradford - were visited by Bradford City Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) officers.

Officers attended the address on Stone Street, off Manor Row, and after searching the property found a quantity of Class B drugs, drugs production equipment and items relating to the distribution and selling of drugs.

Sergeant Matt Silcock, of Bradford City NPT, said: “This operation was the result of listening to our community and responding to their concerns.

“We would like to reach out to our community and advise against online-purchasing of any illegal drug or illegal drug-infused products, including edible products. You don’t know what is actually in the products, how it was made or what conditions it was made in, and it could prove very dangerous.

“I would urge anyone with any concerns in their area, or anyone with information related to illegal drug use, to come forward and speak to the police.”
