POLICE are hunting a "large headed man with a possible facial deformity" after a stabbing in Bradford city centre last night left the victim seriously injured.

Officers were called to the incident which occurred near Bradford College in Great Horton Road at 11.04pm yesterday to reports of a man being injured.

The victim, 38, was found with a serious stabbing injury to his leg and was taken to hospital via ambulance.

Police said the suspect fled the scene and ran towards Grove Terrace, and has been described as a white male in his late 30s, who was clean shaven with a "distinctive large head and possible facial deformity".

He was wearing a black hoody with the hood up, black jeans and black trainers.

The victim underwent treatment upon arriving at hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Detectives are continuing their enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
