TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis after officers went to two homes in Bradford.

Officers from Bradford South’s Neighbourhood Policing Team attended two addresses in Holmewood and Great Horton.

From the address at Dulverton Grove, Holmewood, officers discovered a quantity of cannabis plants and a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.

Officers later attended an address on Daisy Street where further cannabis was discovered, as well as cannabis oil and drug production equipment.

A male was arrested from this address on suspicion of production of Class B drugs and possession with intent to supply.

Officers conducted a number of warrants on Thursday, January 28, following on from community intelligence.

Sergeant Kerry Feathers, of Bradford South NPT, said: “We have taken a lot of drugs off the street through this operation and this is down to our local communities providing us with intelligence and information.

“I would like to encourage anyone who has any information about criminality in your area to come forward and speak to the police.

“You will be listened to and we will take position action to catch those responsible.”
