FIRE crews are damping down after a blaze broke out at an industrial unit on Halifax Road this morning.
West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service was called out to reports of a fire at Blackshaw Mill, just before 11am.
There were five fire engines at the scene, while four breathing apparatuses and two large jets were used by the five fire crews in attendance.
The fire has not spread and there have been no reported injuries.
A West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a fire in a commercial premises on Halifax Road in Bradford at 10.55am this morning.
"Five fire engines are still currently on the scene – one each from Odsal, Fairweather Green, Cleckheaton, Shipley and Rastrick fire stations. They are now damping down.
"Four breathing apparatuses and two large jets were used to bring the fire under control.
"The building is 40m by 20m, and 20 per cent of it has been involved in the fire.
"The fire has not spread and there are no injuries reported."
