SIR - In some ways the proposed development of Brigella Mills in Little Horton into a range of flats and apartments is a welcome way forward for this unused site (T&A, January 25).
It had been my understanding (rightly or wrongly) that Bradford was short of dwelling houses, especially in certain areas of the inner city.
Presumably the developers have tested the market and are happy that there will be sufficient demand for these flats and apartments, which will hopefully not be miniscule boxes?
However, surely we need to be looking at developing the many inner city brownfield sites into small housing estates, similar to those that Incommunities have built around the area, to satisfy the aforesaid demand?
