One patient died at Bradford on Monday, January 25 and the other patient died on Sunday, January 24. The two deaths at Airedale were both reported on Sunday, January 24.

It means that the total number of hospital deaths in the district, according to NHS England figures, now stands at 734 - 515 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 217 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust reported three deaths, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust reported 10 deaths and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust reported five deaths.

Nationally, a further 875 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 67,921.

Patients were aged between 33 and 101 years old. All except 21 (aged 52 to 93 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from December 17, 2020 to January 25, 2021 with the majority being on or after January 16, 2021.

Their families have been informed.

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
