POLICE had to use a circular saw during three drugs raids at properties where there was drugs paraphernalia, signs of recent drug use and dealing and officers seized a quantity of Class B drugs.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Leeds North West Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were out in the Yeadon and Rawdon area this morning to conduct three drugs raids.
These were intelligence-led.
Police had to use a circular saw at one point.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "All three properties contained drugs paraphernalia and signs of recent drugs use and/or dealing."
Officers also recovered a quantity of Class B drugs, which will be destroyed.
The West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "As a result of this operation, those drugs will not be finding their way onto the local streets and this sends a clear message.
"If you are involved in the supply of illegal drugs, you can expect a knock at your door (or in this case, a circular saw)."
