Traffic is being held on the M62 eastbound carriageway at 9.28am, after a crash near junction 24 (A629, Ainley Top).
ALL traffic was been held on a major motorway after a car crashed into the central reservation.
The collision happened on the eastbound carriageway of the M62, at junction 24 (A629, Ainley Top).
It was first reported at 9.09am.
Traffic officers had to remove the car from the centre of the motorway.
This meant all other vehicles on the carriageway were being temporarily held, and traffic was stationary, while this was completed.
Lane three (of three) has continued to be closed as officers are now removing a fuel spillage.
This is causing traffic to queue back to junction 23 (Huddersfield).
