Several 4x4 vehicles have caused severe damage to Peel Park
SIR - The appalling damage caused by 10 idiots in 4x4 vehicles in Peel Park must result in severe punishments for all those concerned, and every effort must be made by the police to trace each and every one of them (T&A, January 19).
It was suggested in the article that the culprits must be tracked down and made to pay for the damage they caused.
On the contrary, much firmer action is required. Preferably the crushing of each vehicle and a short, sharp six month prison sentence (NOT suspended) to get the message across.
