BRADFORD Council said it is investigating complaints about some businesses which may have broken lockdown restrictions.

It said that if enforcement is necessary, it will take action, but said the "vast majority" are complying with the rules.

A Council spokesperson said: “Since the latest Covid restrictions came into force, our Environmental Health Service have received a number of requests for advice from businesses wishing to ensure that they do not fall foul of the law.

“There have also been some complaints about businesses which may have contravened the rules and these are being investigated.

“If enforcement is necessary we will take appropriate action, however, we are pleased that the vast majority of businesses are complying with the rules and helping to limit Covid transmission in the district.”
