WATER is spewing ferociously into the air from roadworks in a town centre.
A video taken by a member of the public shows water spraying at least four metres into the sky from a hole in the ground on Howden Road/Clog Bridge, in Silsden.
The hole is covered by roadwork barriers.
The video was uploaded to a Facebook community page at around 2.14pm this afternoon.
Cars can be seen queuing at temporary traffic lights, as the water fires into the air nearby.
The works are near the road's junction with Keighley Road and Kirkgate.
