FORMER Bradford art student James Owen Thomas, who produces artwork made from discarded scratchcards and other waste items, is producing a series of works to raise finds for the charity Cauldwell Children.
He is donating work to the Staffordshire-based charity that helps children with disabilities.
“It is called Cherry Tree in Blossom and is made up of 20 canvases because Caudwell Children is celebrating its 20th anniversary,” he said. “The pieces will be auctioned later this year to raise funds. The charity has a butterfly logo so one of my collages is of a butterfly.”
He added: “ I am really pleased to be able to help them.”
We hope to unveil the artwork at the charity’s Butterfly Ball in London in July.
