HERE are the latest figures showing how many Covid-19 deaths there has been in every area of Bradford. 

Created by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the interactive map shows the number of deaths in the period March to December 2020, where Covid-19 was the underlying (main) cause on the death certificate.

The ONS says: "As local data is only available up to December, the numbers of deaths in the map will not reflect the latest trends.

"In particular, patterns may not reflect those seen in the most recent case numbers, as a death from Covid-19 will be reported some time after a positive test."

The data is broken down by Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs), which are a small area statistical geography. Each area has a similarly sized population (around 8,000 people on average) that remains stable over time.

Fairweather Green has seen the most deaths in the Bradford area, followed by Shearbridge and University, Bingley Town, Manningham & Lister Park and Undercliffe. 

In the wider district, Sutton & Crosshills has the overall highest number of deaths with 44, followed by Ilkley & Ben Rhydding with 39.
