POLICE in Bradford managed to snare this car just 10 minutes after it was stolen.

West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) used a stinger device to stop it.

These work by puncturing one or more tyres of an oncoming vehicle when they are thrown into its path by an officer from the side of the road.

The RPU team said: "This vehicle had been stolen 10 minutes prior to us sighting it.

"Within seconds the vehicle had all four wheels successfully stung and both occupants detained and vehicle recovered for CSI examination."
