THE Lidl store on Carr House Road in Shelf has shut temporarily for a few weeks while essential maintenance work is carried out.
A spokesperson from LIDL said: "We can confirm our store in Shelf has temporarily closed whilst we carry out some essential maintenance.
"We hope to get the store re-opened in a few weeks and apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused."
The Shelf managment team also posted the Shelf Community Facebook group that while the store was "shut for the forseeable future due to required structural work" customers could shop at nearby Lidls on Manchester Road, in Halifax, on Ingelby Road and in Brighouse.
