BRADFORD Council has reassured the community it is working to keep people safe after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19 at High Park School in Heaton.
The Telegraph and Argus was contacted about another High Park School staff member testing for positve Covid-19, resulting in other staff members and pupils having to self-isolate, and concerns were raised there was outbreak at the school, on Thorn Lane.
A spokesperson for Bradford Council said: “Our data does not match the information you have been given and does not support the view that there has been an escalation in cases at the school.
"In line with national guidance given by the Department for Education we would encourage children with an education health and care plan (EHCP) to attend school.
"We continue to work with and support schools during the pandemic to keep children and staff safe.”
