A FURTHER five Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported in the Bradford district today.

At Bradford, the one patient died on Wednesday, January 13, and another patient died on January 12, while three patients died at Airedale on January 13.

It means that the total number of hospital deaths in the district, according to NHS England figures, now stands at 682 - 481 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 199 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Meanwhile, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust reported three deaths.

Nationally, a further 807 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 59,519.

Patients were aged between 32 and 101 years old. All except 51 (aged 40 to 97 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from November 18, 2020 to January 14, 2021.

Their families have been informed.

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
