AN application has been made to provide live entertainment and film screenings at a venue in Skipton.

Unity Bars and Clubs Limited has applied to Craven District Council for a premises licence for premises to be known as Time Out Sports and Social on the ground floor of Regal Buildings, Keighley Road, Skipton.

The proposal is for regulated entertainment, to include exhibition of a film, on Sunday, Monday and Friday 11 to 03:30 the following morning, Tuesday to Thursday 11am to 3am the following morning and Saturday 11am to 4pm the following morning; live music and recorded music (indoors), performance of dance and anything of a similar description to live music, recorded music and dance Sunday to Thursday 11am to 3am the following morning, Friday 11am to 3am the following morning and Saturday 11am to 5am the following morning.

It also includes late night refreshment Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 3am the following morning, Friday 11pm to 3:30am the following morning and Saturday 11pm to 5am the following morning; the supply of alcohol Sunday toThursday 11am to 3am the following morning, Friday 11am to 3:30am the following morning and Saturday 11am to 5am the following morning. The premises will be open Sunday to Thursday 11am to 3:30am the following morning, Friday 11am to 4am the following morning and Saturday 11am to 5am the following morning. * An application to Bradford Council to use premises as an operating centre for goods vehicles.

Debar Ltd is applying to use Concept House on Brackenbeck Road, Great Horton, as an operating centre for three goods vehicles and to use units at Pitcliffe Way Industrial Estate, off Upper Castle Street, as an operating centre. Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centres who believe their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 6NF stating their reasons, within 21 days. Representors must send a copy of representations to the applicant at Concept House, Brackenbeck Road, Bradford, BD7 2LW.

* Electrical works at Station Road, Manningham. Bradford Council has made a temporary prohibition of traffic order for a one-way traffic flow on Station Road from its junction with Canal Road to its junction with Queens Road travelling in a south easterly direction from Queens Road towards Canal Road.

Prohibition will not extend to vehicles used in connection with the works being carried out, and pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Canal Road, Kings Road and Queens Road.

The order remains in force until 6pm on January 29, 2021, although the closure can remain for up to 18 months if necessary.

* Parking restrictions at River View, Haworth. Bradford Council proposes to make a waiting, loading and parking (Consolidation)

order to introduce an extension to double yellow lines on both sides of a length of River View.
