THERE are a number of GP practices, hospital hubs and vaccine centres in the Bradford district where people are receiving their Covid-19 jabs.

The sites are spread across the district, administering the Covid-19 vaccine to priority groups to protect the most vulnerable members of society from the virus.

Over 80s, extremely vulnerable people and frontline NHS and care workers are currently at the front of the line for vaccines.

These are all the vaccine centres as of January 10, more may be added in the next update.

These are all the locations where you can get a Covid-19 vaccine in Bradford:

  • Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • Jacob's Well car park, Bradford city centre (due to open in the coming weeks)
  • Canalside Health Centre, Kingsway, Bingley
  • Long Lee Surgery, Keighley
  • Shipley Health Centre, Shipley
  • Barkerend Health Centre, Barkerend
  • Woodroyd Medical Practice, West Bowling
  • The Ridge, Great Horton
  • Windhill Green Emerald Suite, Windhill
  • Whetley Medical Centre, Manningham
  • Low Moor Surgey, Low Moor

Outside the district, but still in the local area, there are vaccine centres at:

  • Skipton Hospital
  • Hillfoot Surgery, Pudsey
  • Northowram Surgery, Northowram
  • Yeadon Health Centre, Yeadon

There are also hospital hubs at Leeds, Mid Yorkshire - which serves the Spen Valley - and Calderdale and Huddersfield, serving the Brighouse area.

All COVID-19 vaccination services are appointment only and people will be invited for their vaccinations.

They (vaccinations) are being offered to those at greatest risk from Covid-19 first, in line with the recommendations from the Joint Committee for Vaccinations & Immunisations (JCVI), such as people aged 80 and over and care home residents and the vaccination programme will move to other groups in descending order.

The NHS is busy contacting eligible patients to make appointments for their first vaccination but it is likely take several weeks to cover everyone in these first groups.

Be patient – you will be contacted when it’s your turn.
