A MAN remains in a critical condition after apparently falling from a roof following a "disturbance".

West Yorkshire Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing today and no arrests have been made.

Officers were called to Kensington Street, Girlington, at around 3am on Sunday (January 10) after a man was found unconscious.

He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries

In a statement yesterday, West Yorkshire Police said: "At this stage, it is believed that the injured party fell from a roof after a disturbance at the address on Kensington Street.

"Anyone with information which may assist this investigation is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101 or via the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.

"The log reference is 0198 of January 10."

A large police cordon was in place on a section of Kensington Street, close to its junction with Thornton Road, while the investigation got underway.
