A MAN is fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a roof following a "disturbance", police said.
An extensive cordon has been in place around a section of Kensington Street, Girlington Road, close to its junction with Thornton Road since yesterday.
This afternoon, West Yorkshire Police released further details.
A spokesperson told the Telegraph & Argus: "At 3.05am yesterday (Sunday), police received a report of concern for safety relating to a man who had been found unconscious on Kensington Street.
"He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and remains there today, where he is said to be in a critical condition.
"Enquiries are continuing into the incident. At this stage, it is believed that the injured party fell from a roof after a disturbance at the address on Kensington Street.
"Anyone with information which may assist this investigation is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101 or via the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
"The log reference is 0198 of January 10."
