A DRIVER fled from police and then abandoned the car he was driving after a minor crash.
PC Claire Gray, a Roads Policing Officer with West Yorkshire Police, wanted to speak to the driver of a silver Seat Ibiza after a small collision in Batley.
It was in the evening of Tuesday, January 5.
The driver, a man, failed to stop though and drove off from police.
But, he "ran out of luck" and then abandoned his car, before running away on foot.
Police seized the vehicle.
PC Gray said on Twitter: "I was wanting to speak to this driver after he had a minor RTC (road traffic collision).
"Driver failed to stop but ran out of luck and abandoned the vehicle and ran away.
"We will be coming knocking for you but for now, vehicle is seized by Gray."
