A POWER CUT has left 200 Bradford homes and properties without electricity since early this morning.

Northern Power Grid revealed that 200 buildings in the Ingrow area, just south of Keighley, are being affected by the unexpected outage.

It was first reported at 8.28am.

Buildings off South Street (A629), Foster Road, Back Foster Road, Caister Street, Back Caister Street, Caister Grove, Hemsby Street, Eaton Street, Back Eaton Street, Maize Street, Bran Street, Corn Street, Rye Street, Aylesbury Street, Back Aylesbury Street, Queen's Road and Barley Street have been impacted by the power cut, according to Northern Power Grid.

The energy supplier said it is currently reviewing how long it will take to restore people's electricity in the affected areas.

The power cut has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve the area.

Northern Power Grid states: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
