THIS fly-tipped mess was dumped in the middle of the road near a Bradford beauty spot. 

The mound of rubbish was discovered close to Heaton Woods on Shay Lane and has been reported to Bradford Council by frustrated residents, who have slammed the actions of the culprits. 

The pile of detritus includes chairs, oil cans and what appears to be a sofa.

People caught fly-tipping can receive a £400 Fixed Penalty Notice; an unlimited fine and up to five years in prison, while vehicles used to commit offences can also be seized and crushed

Householders can be fined up to £5,000 and end up with a criminal record if they ask someone else to remove their rubbish and it is found to be fly-tipped.
